Belize, Central America
Samuel’s Sanctuary is a multi-functional facility located at 29.5 Hummingbird Highway, in Central Belize midway between Belmopan and Dangriga. It sits on 18.5 acres of fertile land, with a year-round river and several multi-purpose buildings. Through farming, animal husbandry, water/energy conservation and other eco-friendly measures, Samuel’s Sanctuary is moving towards self-sustainability.
Samuel’s Sanctuary exists to provide a safe, sustainable place for Belizean teenage boys to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our desire is that these boys develop into mature men in each of these areas so that they can be Ambassadors of Christ to promote change in their families, communities, and country. In addition, God has already given us opportunities to minister to and disciple children and families in St. Margaret's village. And we never know who He will direct to our gate that we might be able to minister to.
